Hi Gojo,

Many of these are purchased with a title similar to a automobile title.

Try locating the VIN number and get with the Department of Motor Vehicles for a copy of the title.

It's usually located near the circuit breaker panel.

The owners may have to sign an affidavit of ownership.

Hope that helps You!!!

Hello Gojo.

Lake Fantasia is a great community. Those manufactured homes are pretty standard in the community. If you haven't already resolved the issue, you may want to check with the Association for assistance. If you have any other questions or need any additional info, please feel free to contact me. I specialize in the Riverview/Brandon areas.

As Karen says, most mobile homes are titled like cars (through the Department of Motor Vehicles), not like real estate. Your DMV should be able to handle the process.

Hope that helps.
