I am thinking about moving to Bonita or Estero. Is this a good idea?

Asked by Lee, Cape Coral, FL Thu Mar 20, 2008

I am 49, and my son is 15. I'm a widowed mom. We are moving from Cape Coral. We want a Gated Community. We looked at Stonybrook and Copper Oaks. Can anyone tell me about the area? Crime? People? Are they friendly? What about these neighborhoods? We want a single family home if possible, for under $300k. Thank you!

Take a moment to visit the community profiles for both Stoneybrook and Copper Oaks at my website. Feel free to pick up the phone and call should you have pointed questions about the area and the benefits of living in either of these fine communities.

Dear Lee,
I am familiar with Stoneybrook in Estero. The community is beautiful but the maintance and association fees are high.

Hi Lee,
I moved to SFM in 82. There are several areas that can cost effectively meet your needs that are worth looking at. HOA fees should be just as important to you as school districts. Please call me if you are still interested in an old timers experience and opinion. Sarah Garrett 239-464-8620

If you are still looking, I can get you into a better community than both of those and have you under budget. Please feel free to look at my website or contact me directly. My focus is ESTERO, and I know it extremely well. Thanks and my website is below.

Have your looked at Grandezza which is close to the communities you mentioned. Right across from Miramar Outlets. I think you and your son would love it.

Lee:Both Bonita and Estero have wonderful communities. There are many quality choices as Stoney Brook in Estero, where I see a dozen single homes from $205 K to under $300 K from 1485 sf to over 2000sf, recently attractive build homes. Estero Bella Terra with homes build by famed Lennar with for ex. a single homeof 1678, pre-construction $257K ( quite fancy). In the over 10 year homes there is Estero Fountain Lakes with quite afew in the mid $200's around 1986-1992 homes, Copper Oaks upscale but smaller homes with tiled roof and upgraded interiors just under $300K and Bonita has quite a few with Sir Michael Place with gorgeous 3/2, Mediterranean style 2500 SF 3/2 for $299 K. There are others but its also a question of how much monthly fees you want to pay. Great choices and quality homes. You would be surprised when you see them. My background is in remodeling homes and I can tell you they are not your average homes. LLoyd Nichols- Right Choice Realty- cell 239-810-2980
