Yes. I helped a couple from Canada buy a Condo in Grand Prairie but they paid cash $40K for a 1 bedroom. However, I don't know what a loan officer would tell you re getting a loan in the US if you don't have cash.

There is no problem for you to buy a house. You will only get a mortgage for the purchase if it is going to be an owner occupied home.

I disagree without credit history in the United States you will struggle to find a lender that will finance you. If you do you will more than likely be looking at an extremely high interest rate.
