Shouldn't be any problem finding rentals now - there is quite a few new rentals in the Big Lake and surrounding area depending on your price range. Contact me if you are still looking

I've come across a couple who own a 3-bedroom town home in Big Lake. They are interested in selling contract for deed. Their home is not currently on the market, but I could put you in touch with them if you are still looking for a place in Big Lake, Minnesota. The townhouse was built in 2003.

My contact information is on my website. See below.

The MLS just added rentals to the database so your agent would be able to find you either a Contract for Deed or a Rental - it is best for a professional to represent you whatever you decide.

Big Lake is a great place to live. You have the advantages of the country, but you also only have a 48-minute communite on the North Star Light Rail. You should probably let us know what your are willing to pay in monthly rent. When you lease a property, you will have to go through a credit and back ground check. Usually it's one month's rent down plus first month's rent. I will check with my Big Lake Sellers to see if they would be willing to rent their home. It's a 5 bedroom, and they would probably want about $1500 per month for rent. Plus you would have to keep it in good showing condition while you agree to live there.

MLS search does bring up some possibilities in Big Lake. Just an Fyi, typical down payment on a Contract for deed is around 10%. There are usually some good deals in the St. Cloud area if you can go that far out.

Ask your agent to help you look for a CD house. Check Craigslist for a rent to own.
