Hello Gabby
I see that you have received some good advice from others. Some other things you can try is craigslist.org and search rentals. Driving or biking up and down the streets in Belmont Shore just off 2nd St. may work there are a lot of apartments in that area and a lot of them just have a sign up. If you strike out in Long Beach the City of Los Alamitos has a lot of rentals. Again that is an area in which you need to drive up and down the streets to get info off there signs. If you are in need of more specifics please reach out to me any time.
Thank You

One of the best sources of rentals in Long Beach is Gazettes.com or the actual paper editions of the Grunion Gazette and the Downtown Gazette. Check them out, as well as the larger local property management companies.

Hi Gabby,
Tom & I live within walking distance to CSULB and know of several families in the neighborhood who rent a room to students, usually between $600-800/mo. Are you in need of a whole house? Or would a room suffice? Let me know if you'd like more information on room rental.
