Solana Bay is a nicely maintained gated townhouse complex in a very convenient location but the assigned schools are inferior.
This property is not available, it is "active with contract". Another buyer has a contract and it is also a Short Sale and the list price hasn't been approved so it may require a much higher sale price.
CASH investors are lining up to buy properties like this one so if you don't have CASH you probably cannot compete to get this townhouse.
If you are planning to buy as your primary residence you will have better luck with getting a Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or HUD owned foreclosed home.
Your Realtor can give you a LIstingbook account that will instantly reveal the "true" status of a property (i.e. Active WITH CONTRACT).
If you're not yet working with a Realtor, you can get free Listingbook account on my website:
If you are a first time homebuyer you may qualify to get up to $7,500 from the State of Florida. There is plenty of money available. I just had a buyer close on a nice home on Friday and she put $1,000 escrow down at the time of the contract and then she actually got $375 back at closing. Your agent can give you the details. If you haven't decided on an agent, send me an email and I'll send you the details.
All the best,
