This zip code is very close to the Energy Corridor on the west side of town. Houston ISD schools, a wide range of prices on homes, town homes and even apartments. Realtors do not keep data that you are seeking. You will need to do some research on-line, check out blogs and news reports, visit with friends you know in the area as well speaking to a police officer you might see on the street.

You can check out these web sites as well. This might help.

You can also use this web site to compare the zip code your living in to the one your thinking about moving to. Compares all types of information.

I sell in this area. Let me know if I can be of help. We can let you know how real estate values are doing, if there are any good "deals" and how to proceed with investigating other issues when buying a home.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to discuss crime issues, but are more than welcome to get a report from police substation. Trevor provided a good link, maybe that will help you.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Good morning Ifran Uddin,

Under Federal Fair Housing regulations, we real estate and mortgage professionals are not permitted to discuss crime or various other topics about homes for rent or sale or communities.

I've found that is an excellent resource.

Irfan ...

Realtors are not permitted to comment on the safety of any given location. You can view crime statistics on several websites ... I like

Your best bet is to drive through the area at different times of day and speak with those who live there. They'll be only too glad to let you in on the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Best of luck.
