Your credit score updates only when a material fact changes that would either improve, or reduce your credit score. Yes creditors submit your payment information every 30 days, but this does not update your score.
If you need to improve your score, here is a great way to getting it done.

Hi, Marecia,
You credit report updates every four weeks and it also updates each time there is a change to the report such as a payment being reported by a creditor. Creditors report different times through the month so theoretically it can update almost weekly or daily depending upon how much different creditors report.

Thadeus' answer is correct as to the creditors. However, the bureaus tend to update every 2-3 weeks. For more information on credit scores, you can check out

As often as your creditors choose to report to the 1 of 3 credit reporting bureaus. You can ask your creditors how often they report.
