How much does it cost to install a well and well system?

Hi Kristen- Aside from my mortgage career, I've spent many years in the building field. A short answer on this- just for budget sake- is you're looking at a minimum of $10K to drill and install- and it could easily be over $15K as well. Many variables.
You just won't know until the well company starts drilling. Even your next door neighbor's well has surprisingly little to do with how far you'll have to drill to get good water flow. I've learned that the hard way!

Often the cost of drilling a well is determined by how deep you need to drill to hit water. Two next door neighbors of mine both recently drilled wells and paid dramatically different prices. Here's a few places I found online that can be more specific with you:
