Credit inquiries do not affect your score by 10 points on average. Please click on the link for the website to read more on inquiries. It may have no or little affect. New Credit only constitutes about 10% of the total credit score, and inquiries are a subcategory of that. These matter within 90 days they are made.
Each takes away 10 points on average.
Don't allow new inquiries to appear on your credit report.

Hope this helps,

You need to talk with the Mortgage/Bank that you plan on working with it depends on why you and who checked your credit an Insurance Company will be deferent then a home loan So you need to check with the person that is doing your loan before they check your credit.

Not to equivocate, but that really depends on the type of inquiry. Credit card companies pre-screening you for offers has a much weaker impact on your report than you applying for multiple credit cards.

Why do you feel these inquiries would not count?

They generally will show for the full time and less as they age. but there a other factors that are generally more important that could affect your home buying options. I would love to advise you in your home search and connect you with financial industry experts ready to help you now.
