The three golf courses at Grey Oaks have distinct personalities. One is dramatic and challenging, pushing your game to a level you didn’t know was possible. Another is seductive in its tropical beauty, a pleasurable escape. The third is a private nature sanctuary, a nod to the Southwest Florida landscape with its towering pines and indigenous foliage.
Named one of the “Top 5 Toughest Private Golf Courses in Florida” by Florida Trend magazine, the Pine Course challenges the golfer with its rolling berms and dramatic elevation changes.

The exhilarating 7,206-yard course will keep you coming back for more. The challenge at hand is equaled in beauty by the pine and cedar hammocks and surrounding natural preserves and lakes throughout the striking landscape. A “Top 50 Most Distinctive Course in the Southeast,” as noted by Golfweek Magazine and the “Best of the Gulf Shore Golf Course,” deemed by Gulfshore Life Magazine, the Pine Course is the crown jewel in the trilogy of the Grey Oaks courses.
Tdistinctive course, with tiered rock waterfall, bulk-headed island greens, meandering lagoons and white sand beaches—you may even forget the game at hand. This tropical beauty spans 7,088 yards and is rich with thousands of coconut palms, sparkling water, and spacious fairways. But don’t allow its beauty to deceive you, at its heart it is a test of skill and patience for any golfer.

A private sanctuary, the Estuary course is breathtaking at every turn throughout its 6756 yards. Its creative bunker design, variety of greens sizes and fairway widths, and towering pine, cypress and oak trees inspires and challenges. Every fairway is paired with a shimmering lake, every preserve rich with indigenous foliage. A “Course of the Year for 2005,” by the Florida Golf Course Owners Association,” the Estuary Course is the perfect complement to Grey Oaks’ Pine and Palm courses.

Resplendent in its design, the private par-72 Championship Golf Course provides a premier golfing experience. Designed by master architect, Arthur Hills, it is his only 'Signature' course in Southwest Florida. Totaling 7,400 yards of natural splendor with TifEagle Bermuda greens, it features six sets of tees to challenge players of all levels. A challenge for all pros and amateurs alike are raving about this 7,400 yards of heaven. Extensive berming and picturesque landing areas overwhelm you with the feeling of total exclusivity. The 15 acre practice facility includes a driving range, practice fairway bunkers, dedicated chipping green with bunkers, and a 9,000 square foot TifEagle practice green, all maintained year-round to "Signature" course standards.

The name Arthur Hills has become well recognized in the world of golf. To date, there are more than 150 Arthur Hills designed courses in the United States alone. Hills, a past president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, has designed golf courses for many different golf courses communities, private clubs, resorts, and public golf developments. Arthur Hills is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and in 1999 was elected into prestigious ASLA Class of Fellows. Some of Arthur Hills' most recent award-winning courses include Longaberger Golf Club in Hanover, OH which was honored in January 2001 by Golf Digest as America's Best New Upscale Public course for 2000. Lighthouse Sound (Ocean City, MD) and Shepard's Hollow (Clarkston, MI) were also honored by Golf Magazine in their March 2001 issue as two of the "Top 10 Best New Courses of the Year"

QUAIL WEST'S world-class golf program centers around not one but two extraordinary 18-hole courses. Designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA, 36 holes take advantage of the natural waterways and preserves to create a uniquely challenging golf experience.

Quail West’s golf program also features a full-service, state-of-the-art practice facility with expert teaching staff. The private Grand Clubhouse serves as a home base for golfers and residents, with lavish men and women’s locker rooms, pro shops, three dining venues, indoor pool, fitness center, spa and salon. And at the end of the Preserve course is the 19th Hole Sunset Bar, where golfers relax after a round while taking in views of the 18th green. One of Southwest Florida’s most exclusive golf clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by only six hundred members.

Thanks for your question and I hope this information helps you.

Both are awesome.....biggest difference will be location. Many would consider Grey Oaks to have a superior location. Quail West however now has a new builder (Stock) and are really trying shore everything up. They have some prime lots available......
