In addition to searching for available houses in the area(s) you're interested in, you can also get answers to your questions by Real Estate professionals.

Tulia is a great place for a buyer or a seller to get educated answers to the questions you have. It's also a great place to find someone to help you through the process of being a first time homebuyer and.... SAVE YOU MORE MONEY ON THAT HOUSE THAN YOU WERE GOING TO PAY IN THE FIRST PLACE... All this free to you. Isn't this a great country?

Call me anytime Tahliaf. :-)

Trulia is a good resource for getting questions answered, researching agents and viewing properties. Please note that you should not rely on Trulia for the most updated properties. That info is in your local MLS. Once you find a Realtor & lender to work with, they are going to be your best resources moving forward in your purchase.

You can get a lot of useful information from very reputable agents through Trulia. It gives you the opportunity to see how agents practice their business and flex their expertise. Check out the blogs and local voices for the most useful info.

It helps you become an educated consumer. As in many things in life the more you know the less people can get over on you. It also helps you find an agent that you would like to deal with. Review some agents blogs and answers, you'll get to know more about them and how they think, hopefully you'll find one that thinks along the lines you do. Good luck.

Dear Tahliaf:

Trulia's question and answer forum is a great way for consumers to do research and gather information regarding buying or selling a home as well as financing and mortgages. As is the case with your question here, many different real estate agents will give you feedback and because real estate is a very opinionated industry as a whole, you can get many different takes on a particular subject which can all be helpful and relevant.

In addition to that, real estate agents have the opportunity to market their listings to potential buyers and the buyers themselves have a vast amount of inventory on the site to look at as opposed to a single agents web site which may be limited as to the number of listings. That being said, not all active listings are on Trulia or any one web site for that matter. In the end, as a buyer, you will probably have to look at many web sites to get a full grasp of everything that is currently out there for sale.

Other web sites you may want to view if your looking to purchase a property in Brooklyn include http://www.BNYMLS.com and http://www.OLR.com. Or if you prefer you can visit our company web site at http://www.MadisonEstates.com which provides you with all the active listings on both of those databases.

In the end, finding a good real estate agent would be most helpful to your cause rgardless if you are buying or selling. You can also seek out a good real estate agent on Trulia based on their profile, experience and contributions to the site. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Good luck!
