I've had the displeasure of dealing with Jersey City officials once before so I'm not looking forward to having to deal with them again. The property I want to buy would be an ideal location for my new business, however, it's R1-A zoned. How hard would it be to get a special use permit? I need to make sure I can get one before even considering purchasing the house.
Is there anything I can do to convince the city that approving the permit would be beneficial to the community and make this process easier? Thanks!
