How do we have closing date when we don't even have a signed contract yet?

Asked by Jenniferlb4488, La Grange, IL Tue Jul 23, 2013

We signed a form called a counter offer/ammendment A contract but not sure what it is. I we sent paperwork for the FHA loan yesterday that the loan officer asked for. We need to be put off our house buy mid to late Aug. Can this still fall through? It is a bank owned townhome. Sold as is.

If you signed a counter offer, then you are under contract. This is how you have a closing date.
