I subscribe to a website that provides me with that information. If you contact me with the address I can give you that information immediately.

Steven,

Franklty, save yourself the hassle of inaccurate websites and the like and just consult with a "local" RE agent.who (1) should have ready acess to such information and (2) most likely if it is bank onwed, it its listed for sale on the local MLS. If u think you will save by avoiding Realtor contract, frankly, the savings is minimal as compared to the time and expertise required to close such a deal. In my view, any "savings" will be expended with effort and the lack of expertise that can protect you from future liability.

FYI, all deeds and recordings in Ocean County are available of the Ocean County Clerk's website.

The only way to get the most updated information as to who owns a property is to personally visit your county recorder's office where the deed is recorded. No website, with the exception of (possibly) the Union county recorder's office website since they are (I believe) the only county recorder in the state of NJ whose property records (deeds, mortgages, etc.) are online, will necessarily have updated information. If the bank took the property back yesterday and a deed was recorded, it would be down at the recorder's office before it showed up on a website.

Look it up in the tax records at http://www.njactb.org it may be updated by now and will list the current owner of the property be it a bank or whoever, if its not updated then check with the listing Realtor.

Find a Good Buyers Broker that person will be able to find what ever you want to know about the home and who holds the property it could be a servicing company or the lender who owns the note. Here is a link to search http://tax1.co.monmouth.nj.us/cgi-bin/prc6.cgi?menu=index&am…

Talk to a real estate agent, or check the tax records. Most counties in New Jersey have a public document search option on the County Clerks website.

If you search in the public records in new jersey you might be able to find out. Try calling the county clerks office:
