Hello Lyla,
Lakes of River Trail is a quaint neighborhood. Well maintained. The HOA is not bad, just $180 a year and it covers only the common areas which include the lake of course. Not many homes come on the market and when they do they really don't last long. The main reason is because the homes are newer than other neighborhoods in Hurst and priced very well.

The biggest downside is the train tracks that go by and they're very close. However, I don't know what the trains schedule to see how active it is, could be once a week or once a day. Wi;ll have to be investigated further.

If you need the HOA covenants, let me know or if this info is sufficient.

The management of the HOA should have them, OR they may even be on the HOA's or HOA's Management's web site. Hopefully somone in the Hurst Area will answer. In the meantime, you can try Googling - Lakes Of River Trails HOA Hurst TX. When I did it came up with a page, and a spot to click on HOA Documents which came up empty. But the webmaster there may be able to help.

The web site I hit was:

What specifically are you wanting to know about Lake River Trails? There are 4 areas and each have their own borad, LRT North, LRT South, LRT East and LPT West. Each will have different bylaws.

HOAs in texas are generally Texas Non-Profit corporations. as such those documents including the officers and Board of Director's names are all on file with the Tx Secretary of State. you can search their website for governing documents and other items for a fee they will also send you certified copies

The title company should be able to at least tell you who the president of the HOA , if not the management company, is so that you can get information from them.

Where is your real estate agent? They should be able to furnish you that info. Or if you can determine the HOA management # then you can contact the HOA direct.
