Most properties will vary due to size or layout. Unless it is the exact same home in a community taxes can fluctuate, due to different assessments on properties. In our Area the county millage rate will be the same for everyone, the assessment will be different, The school and township/borough rates will also vary area to area. So we have school ,County, And township/borough Millage rates which multiplied with the property assessment will equal the total property taxes in our area.
Anyone who has access to property tax information is a good source, Mortgage people and the easiest would be Realtors and Title/settlement companies. I will tell you that homes located in the West Chester school district of Pennsylvania have one of the lowest property taxes in the entire Delaware Valley. Delaware State would be the only exception with lower taxes, but then their are other issues to be concerned about purchasing in the State of Delaware.
