Use local licensed professionals for starters. Your profile says your a buyer, so a great local agent should help. If you are a renter, NEVER send money overseas hoping for keys in return mail. This is an ongoing scam that continues to victimize people.

You are at the airport, barefoot, pockets turn out, hands above head, looking guilty as TSA swabs, probes and definitely know when it happens.

You are being SCAMMED when you can not lead the local police to the door of the one taking your money. IT is a simple as that.

Scanned or scammed?

Scammed: If it sound too good to be true. If you have to pay money up front. If you have to send money in return for promise of keys. If the person you're dealing with claims to be the owner but is out of town or out of the country.

Scanned: We all are. With electronics and technology today, we're being constantly monitored and scanned.

Hope that helps.
