Has anybody ever hired a lawyer to sue a moving company? United Van Lines was the moving company from hell,

using my sheets, towels and pillows as packing material, stuffing ALL our clothes in our own suitcases and taking them all off hangars and throwing them into a wardrobe box and more. Not to mention simply leaving half our belongings in the house.

we just got rolled by this company also, going by the name of MOVERS GROUP in chicago based out of Florida. They threatened us w/ abandonment of our items if we didnt agree to pay almost 2,000$ over our estimate. We arranged to pick up our good rather than have them deliver and they left our stuff in some warehouse w/ the key under a matt.. we didn't receive our 2 flatscreen TVs, missing a dining room table and mattress.. ALL furniture which was imaculate was banged up and ruined..!!! we also received items which were not ours... some records and silver serverware which i'm sure another family is missing. CRAZY!! if anyone knows an avenue for recourse please share!
