I don't know any other way to communicate this. In short, I am a young African American female and my realtor happens to be an older A.A. female. Both my fiance and myself have noticed that she tends to talk to us like we are her children as opposed to maintaining a professional working relationship. She isn't necessarily being rude or anything but she acts like she is making the purchase. We recently had a contract on property, waited a few weeks and hadn't heard anything (later found out it was a short sale). As a result, she insisted we look for something else. So we did. We found another property and made an offer only for her LATER to tell us it's ALSO a short sale and we may have to wait a max. of 2 months. So, I asked her if we could look for something else that's NOT a short sale. She basically said no, she doesn't want to do so until we tell her if we want to "forget about" the other property and move on. Just like she's not trying to waste her time- neither are we. Please adv
