Help the community by answering this question:

This is the Fed Gov. site created for the public to view all Current Fed Housing loans available to the public
(FHA, USDA Rural, Veterans ect..) you will find 18 Housing loan(s) and you can get specific information, compare options, or take a short questionnaire to determine your eligibility for each program.

I think you may also wish to take a look at the Hud information for Homebuyers....http://www.hud.gov/buying/index.cfm ..and the FHA information for Home Buyers... http://portal.hud.gov/portal/page/portal/FHA_Home/consumers/…

Good luck, Dunes

Another great loan for first time buyers is the Rural Development Loan depending on where you are located. The first time homebuyer tax credit is set to expire on Nov 30th so hopefully you will have purchased by then and can take advantage of the 10% back up to $8,000! Good luck!!

Check into FHA mortgage. That would be the easiest way for a first time home buyer to secure a mortgage.
