IMHO there is nothing bad about Haddonfield. I have grown up in this area all my life. I have personal friends in the Police Dept.
The Fowler and Bellveiew ave sections are much lower in price. $300k some a little less. The Hinchman ,Chewslanding and Redman Avenue areas you will find homes in the 600k and up...to over $1million...

But in the Bellevue areas there are plenty of 900k homes as well.

There is nothing "bad" about Haddonfield, except their taxes. But if you consider the appreciation and the great education your children will get while in the school system its all a wash.

Haddonfield does not bus. Its a walking town and kids will make friends walking to school or in neighbor generated car pools.

You have nothing to worry about.

You ask an interesting question. I live right outside of Haddonfiled. The answer really lies in what type of housing you are trying to acquire. You can purchase a fixer in the $300k's or a home in excess of $1mil. Depending on what part of town you can be close to the speedline, local shops or park. It all depends on what you are looking for. Start searching all Haddonfield houses for sale by going to http://www.YourNJHomeSearch.com. Homes are updated daily so you will always be looking at fresh information.

Hello Pete,
That's a question with no definite answer because everyone has different needs and priorities. Most people with small children prefer to be near an elementary school and live off well traveled streets (like Grove Road and Maple Ave.). I suggest you drive around the area when the elementary schools dismiss and watch the direction the majority of children head.

You would also want to look for streets that have the homes set up so your kids can go outside and play. From there you will need to look at price and home sizes to evaluate what fits within your budget.

Good luck and find a good trusted person who can assist you! If you need any further assistance, feel free to call me.
