Here is the link – enter state, city, and zip code, and it will pull up:

https://entp.hud.gov/idapp/html/condlook.cfm

Please reach out if you need further assistance. It can be a challenge in Chicago to find the buildings but I can key in and set up an auto search so you won't miss any new listings as the come up in these particular buildings.

For an updated list of FHA approved condos in Chicago checkout http://www.homebuyerwise.com/FHA-Approved-Condos/city/Chicago-IL_6420. for 24/7 access. Unfortunately the HUD site is down in evenings and on weekends when people need it most. Most other sites have data the out of date.

Hi Terry,

I would be glad to help you find that out. First, you can look at http://www.hud.gov. On the top right, click on the Resource tab. The left side has HUD approved condos. Click on that. Search on the top drop down box by zip code. Then look for the name of the association, not the address. If it has ever been reviewed by FHA you will find it.

My company, Condo Approval Professionals, help association achieve FHA approval. We would be glad to help if you need this service.

Sincerely,

Steve Stenger

There are many of them yet lenders have loosened up their standards so you might find a conventional option which will give you more condo options. One issue is that agents do not always mark the listing as being FHA approved even if it is. They screw this up frequently. My web site has some lenders that might have conventional options.
