Does the land/lots available in Dripping Springs have restrictions as to size of home?

Very hard to find no restrictions in hays county. I currently am listing agent and I also reside in the same community of property for sale. Amazing piece of heaven. You are 15 minutes to Dripping Springs. It is a 5.23 acre lot and what sets it apart from all others is your access to gated private homeowners park to the Pedernales River by car or foot. Swim,Hike,Fish and canoe. We are seven miles from Pedernales State Park. Put in your canoe at State Park and float down to the private park. This is a very private secluded area. Not much turn over of property. Come view for yourself this hidden treasure. Again agent lives in community. This lot does have a mandatory $75 HOA annual which helps fund keeping the park road paved and upkeep of park. Blanco county does not have building restrictions..HOA does not permits travel trailers or mobile homes. Agent has on hand all covenants for review. This lot will not last so call today and I will be glad to walk the land with you and then take you to the private park to see your river access.

I've lived in Dripping for 20 years. M. Ryon has it right as does Kennedy, it depends onwhether or not you are in a subdivision. There are not that many unrestricted smaller parcels left. We got lucky that our subdivision is under 10 minutes to schools and sports with 5 acres and 2000 sq ft minimum only and horses. That is hard to get now because Dripping is turning into an area of "planned communities/ subdivisions" due to it's excellent schools and proximity to Austin and attractions west and airport. We're done raising our kids so are moving closer to them. Dripping Is very family oriented - and that is great!

The answer is yes and no... If the land is in a subdivision there most likely will be restrictions. You simply meed to ask a Realtor for advice and help with your specific requirements....

Many of the smaller parcels from .25 of an acre to 5 acres have building or deed restrictions because they are usually in a subdivision. As you move a little farther outside of Dripping Springs and more rural, your chances of restrictions become less.

It depends on the lot. Many have a minimum square footage.
