Does every home in Burlington and Burlington city required to have flood insurance?

No, every home is not required to have flood insurance ... it goes according to the flood map. There are homes on W Union that you would think need flood insurance, but they don't, and then others all the way on Locust that need it. Your insurance carrier should be able to tell you, or go to http://www.floodsmart.gov. There is a red box on the lower right. Put in the address and it will give you a good idea if flood insurance will be needed or not.
