Hi John,
The link attached covers the entire NYC area. Please note that when looking in Brooklyn you have to search for "Brooklyn" as the city, but Queens is broken into towns (i.e "jamaica" "Forest Hills" etc...).

The most important piece of information, is that a lot of condo's that are IN FACT APPROVED, WILL NOT show on the list.....reason is that they were recently approved and FHA doesn't update the site regularly.

I suggest you to focus on a desired area first and then ask the agent or the condo board if they are approved or at least have applied for FHA approval. This will make your search more focused and ultimately easier.

Best,

If you have the address of a condo you want to check FHA approval status on you can search it at http://www.checkfhaapproval.com and it will send you an email with approval status and if it is approved it will also give you available eligibility information because even if a condo is approved it still has to meet eligibility requirements for an FHA loan. Hope this helps.

There are approximately 34 Condo developments in Queens that are FHA approved. The challenge is to find an FHA development in the neighborhood and price you are looking at. And not every FHA approved Condo development will have units for sale. For example, the SixOne Developemnt in Woodside has 7 two-bedroom units for sale, while the Parkridge devlopment in Bayside/Flushing only has three units for sale. Good luck and feel free to call or e-mail with any questions.

Here is the link that has the listings. Hope this works. All I did was do a search for FHA approved condos, and came up with the site to go to. If this doesn't work, you can do the same. Then, of course, to thank me for providing this information, you can contact me when you are looking to apply for a mortgage. We are direct lenders who underwrite and fund FHA loans as well as all conventional loans, and broker anything else.
