wonderful, but in order to get there you drive through some neighborhoods that are not so nice. Would it be a wise move to buy a home in this neighborhood. Since I am not from Orlando, I thought someone who is familiar with the area could help.

I'm actually quite familiar with that area. There are actually very nice homes depending on which way you enter that neighborhood. From Goldenrod there are some lower priced older homes, however if you take the entrance from University Blvd. (Bibb lane I beleive the rd is called) there are many very nice homes all along lake Irma, it is a very desireable area just evidenced that people are willing to pay quite a bit for homes in the community, and are still willing to put in more $ knocking them down and putting up new homes.

I wouldn't feel any regret buying in that area. Now buying directly from a builder, that is another story, you always want to bring in your own representation, especially since the builder pays for it out of their marketing budget.

We have lived in lake Jean since 11/2009. Over all we are pleased. Morrison is not building here anymore There is a new company coming in this month. Schools are great!! That is why we picked the area.We worked with a great agent who helped us with some very special needs with the builder. When built an accessible home for a wheelchair.
