Barcley Estates is one of St. Peterburg's best kept secrets. It is a lovely, quiet neighborhood of well kept, upscale homes. It is just minutes from the Howard Frankland Bridge and an easy commute to Tampa, downtown St. Petersburg and Clearwater. The Barcley brothers built many of the residences in the subdivision and were known for quality construction. Some homes were standard floorplans but many others were built custom to the specifications of the original purchaser. The neighborhood has an active neighborhood association. It is a wonderful place to live! I've sold many homes there and my buyers were very satisfied. I'd put it in the same category as Riviera Bay, Placido Bayou, Caya Costa, Feather Sound, the Old Northeast and Snell Isle although each of those areas has it's own distinct emphasis and charm. And, by the way, it is really spelled BARCLEY.

Barclay Estates has been a great neighborhood and a Real Estate sound area. The homes are spacious usually on larger than normal lots, and of course with it's location, it is an easy communte to Tampa International Airport or work in Tampa just across the Howard Franklin or The Gandy. We have listed and sold many homes in this fine area of the last 25 years.
