I'm not always the biggest fan of realtors, but the ones that are even decent are very busy with this avalanche of buyers trying to grab FL real estate with prices going up so fast!
What I would do is, fax or email these two items to real estate offices in the area you wish to buy and you'll see a huge difference in response:
1. a Legit Pre Approval Letter
2. Copy of a personal check for $5,000 made out to simply "Title Company" and write in the memo section: Good Faith Deposit
Include your contact info and desired criteria and I bet you will be amazed at what will happen!
