I don't think the schools rate as high as Newport Mesa, Irvine, Tustin, Yorba, or Fullerton but still there are some good schools in La Habra. The two high schools are La Habra High and Sonora. Whittier Christian private school is close as well.

Probably the biggest complaint I hear from potential La Habrians is the limited Freeway access. The 57 is probably closest on the east side of La Habra and the 91 and 5 to the south and west. Pretty much though wherever you are in La Habra, you're going to be 10-15 minutes minimum from the closest freeway.

Still a great city, just something to consider.

Hi Nami,

I believe La Habra is a great city, as are many in Orange County, and has lots to offer. Check out http://www.greatschools.net to learn more about schools from an independent source. I am located farther South and don't really know the city well enough to advise you on the areas within the city but I know a great Realtor to refer you to. Let me know if you would like his name and contact information and I will get it to you.

Good luck with your search,
