If your student will be attending LASD, then no. There are often car pools or shared rides. Check with the PTA at your school to see if they have any kind of system set up. Will your child be going to Gardener Bullis, Covington or Loyola? (The 3 main schools for Hills students. ) -Owen Halliday

It's a reasonable question, I'm not sure why some of the responses were so obnoxious. The answer is "no", most towns in California have no school bus service. That probably seems incredible if you're coming from anywhere else. You would think that California - which is the home of millions of rich, liberal tree-huggers and eco Nazis - would have buses, but they're content to let each kid take a separate car. The result is a huge traffic jam in front of every school, twice a day. And Imagine the carbon (shudder!).
