I think this is a great time to buy anywhere in Michigan. There are a lot of homes being bought up in Detroit. Some areas do better than others. Give me a call or send me an email and let me know what your invrstment goals are, and I'll help you get there. I plenty of opportunities to share with you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Absolutely! You have to buy smart-low price- good solid house. People are buying properties for $10,000 and making $1200 a month rent with minimal repairs- where else does that exist?

Nao ... it all depends on your investment goals. While Detroit has seen significant decline there are still some advantages to buying there like the tax abatement. There are also pockets of areas in Detroit that have not seen what a good part of Detroit is experiencing. It really does depend on your goals. I have many investment opportunities in Detroit as well as areas away from Detroit.

Best of luck,

It would all depend on the job situation. No jobs = no renters http://www.bls.gov/ro5/cesdet.htm

The decline of home prices in an area is caused by something. You should gather all the information you can on any area you intend to invest in since I'm sure you do not want to be the proud owner of a lot of used lumber.
