Asked by Kelly Lombardi, Maplewood, NJ Tue Feb 3, 2009

My fiancee and I are interested in buying a two-family home/browstone with another (married) couple. Is this possible?

Hi Kelly,
Sure you can buy together as a group. It may become pretty complicated but it certainly is something that can be done.
If you would like, please give me a call on my cell, 440-487-2193, at your convenience or e-mail me at jwirsing@kw.com and I can get you in touch with loan mortgage experts that can assist you & your friends to make this happen.

Sure thing. Probably the best financing option would be an FHA loan. Your friends can either occupy the property or be non-occupant coborrowers.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
