Can somebody give me an idea of how much of a house I can afford? I only pay a credit card 25 monthly. Everything else is regular bills.

Each person's financial situation is different so a lender will need to gather all the info to see how much house you will be comfortable buying. Do know that all lenders do not provide the same service and fees do vary.

I'd be glad to direct you to some good local lenders since my buyers have found local loan officers often provide better service than someone far away. After all, when there are challenges we can go and visit in person to sort it out--something you just can't do when the loan officer is in Florida!

A lender would be in the best position to provide you with an answer as to how much of a house you could afford. He would do so after analyzing your financial, credit and job situation.

How much you qualify can depend on a variety of factors from income, debt to interest rate. I recommend contacting a local lender to get qualified. They can provide you with how much you qualify for, what your payment could be and what all of your options are.

One lender I work with often is Steve Sheldon with Superior Mortgage. He can be reached at 280-6444.

Call Steve, he'll answer and get you the information you need. Lenders are the number one source for the information you're looking for. With so many variables at stake, he can pin point your qualifying amount. The sooner the better because, rates are expected to go up which can effect your qualifying amount.
