I work and live up near this area. There are some very nice neighborhoods not too far from the Lamb/Pecos/Centennial. There are a couple of new home developments up there are well that are offering some pretty good incentives.

You will want to be careful though not to go looking too close to the "Pig Farm" as the smell can be a big factor in purchase and resale of a home.

If there anything else I can help you with please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Warmest Regards,

Thanks for the input. I will probably be working at the new VA hospital. What neighborhoods would be close to that area?

Opinions are subjective--If you are not familiar with the area its' time to visit--visit more than once and at different times of day, look at everything that is of importance to you, look at shops, chat with locals if the opportunity arises, dine at a local eatery, etc., then make your own determination, will your comfort level be reached.
