If you are asking this question because you are looking to buy at Interlaken, I would contact the managing agent and also try to get to someone on the Board and get an answer as to whether or not they would consider this. If you do get an okay, and you purchase the property, you will mostly like need an architect to draw up the plans. The plans would normally have to be approved by the Board and then you will need a licensed and boded contractor. If you already live there or you are in contract to buy there, I would follow the same procedure. Check with the Board and managing agent first.
