Can I purchase a condo in Rosmoor and rent it out?

Doug is right about the one-year limitation on renting it out. I'd be hesitant about putting a true unrelated "arms-length" tenant on the title.

I would concur with Doug and definitely talk to the HOA and review their regulations and disclosures.

Rossmoor rules dictate that you can only rent it out for one year unless you put the tenant on the deed of trust. One of the tenants must be 55 years old, the other must be at least 45 and there are no children allowed unless there is a 100% dependent person involved. It makes a lot of sense to confirm these facts with the HOA rules and regulations
