Are you so narrow-minded and demanding in everyone and everything?
Trulia is not intended as an end-all, single source of information;
It is a supplimental source, almost an entertainment source.
Particularly if you are out-of-the -area, it can guide, inform and occupy some time.

It is also intended to directs Buyers and Seller toward the ultimate source, a local Realtor.

Are you as accurate and attentive in your work that you do for a living as you demand in others?

trulia I find is great. However, unfortunately the area of Tijeras and others around Albuquerque are unreliable. Wife and I attempted to purchase a home there, so called realtor pushed for online complete buy. We arrived on sight early, saw it was not as stated and represented. Even the inspection company was in cahoots with the realtor. 2 attorneys later and around $2700 later we were resolved of any wrong doing and still lost our initial $1,000 up front honest money. I say, BE CAREFUL HERE. Do not fall for realtor B.S. on their greatness and how they are for you the buyer. The area is nice, but also beware of major laws (01-01-2015) on septic systems new and existing. Very stick and changes upgrades to existing are expensive. Water is also a issue. Haul your own or pay for it hauled or be on a tight, restricted well allocation where over use fines can be triple your base cost. LOOK INTO IT BEFORE PURCHASE............Buyer beware.........

Although sites like these use an IDX feed from local MLS databases, the listing results can often be archived as active, even though they may be sold or under contract. Then, 3rd party companies like RealtyTrac insert data of properties that are in pre-foreclosure, making them appear as active listings, although they're not on the market.

If you're looking for a real-time property search for Edgewood and other parts of the east mountains, go to: http://www.syan.com/search

There is no charge and no sign-up required. You can view all listing details, photos, maps, etc.

Listing results come directly from the local MLS in real-time, so if you don't see the listing here that is seen elsewhere, that means it is off the market (e.g. pending, expired, closed).

If you prefer not to search and would rather have listings based on your preferences automatically emailed to you, then you can setup free listing alerts at http://www.syan.com/alerts

You'll know when a new listing hits the market instantly, before most real estate agents do. You'll also be alerted to status changes, etc.

I agree with Mr. Pagli. Everyone has an opinion but they are not necessarily correct, therefore, you must do your due diligence prior to using it. Nonetheless, it is a good start.

It's a common gripe, unfortunately they aren't updated as often as they should be. For the most accurate info try Realtor.com or work with an agent that can provide info from the MLS.
