Danette Stef…, Home Buyer in New York, NY

At the co-op board interview they said they would let us know by Monday, that was now a week and a half ago... is this a bad or a good sign?

The seller or the sellers agent should keep on top of this, ask the seller what the hold up is. It is obviously in the sellers interest to move this along as well as yours.
The co-op board should answer to the current owner (your seller).

Maybe a Red Flag!
Is this what you've got to look forward to?

We did get the impression during the interview that they weren't very well organised, but what is there to do now? If we pull out don't we lose our deposit? How long can co-op boards take to decide?

Your agent can better advise, consider a consultation; keep in mind that each co-op board is different...
