Are you an agent who knows glendale or burbank or Valley Village let me know I need a strong agressive agent.?

Asked by CH, Glendale, CA Sun Sep 28, 2008

I am a PERFECT BUYER" Credit in the 800, 20% down. But NO ONE can find me a house. I want a 2 bed with a den. at least a 1 1/2 bath. Not going to pay over 500 and needs to be updated to this century. I don't want to live next to an apt. complex. I believe I have seen everythng there is to see. If you can prove me wrong let me know. I am a serious buyer and I am tired of wasting my time seeing a bunch of junk.

Thank you for your question.
Your post covers a large area. If I were your Realtor I would ask you to outline your priorities, needs versus wants, and develop a plan to help you find the right property. Even in a declining market, some buyers have expectations that have "yet to arrive".

OTOH, the 80/20 rule applies, and approx. 80% of listings are overpriced given the market, so it is not necessarily your Realtor. You need to agree to WORK together as a team in order to persuade over-priced sellers to be realistic.

Has your Realtor refused to show you listings? Refused to submit offers?

Do not confuse the market for your own expectations. We do not MAKE the market, we WORK IN IT>

Hi CH,

The areas you mentioned are the areas I work with on a daily basis. I assume you have an agent since you indicate you have seen everything there is to see.

Do not get discouraged. The home buying process can take some time. New properties come on the market all the time.

The relationship between a buyer and agent needs to benefit both parties. I don't want to waste my time either. Call or e-mail me with your info so that I can confirm your criteria. Once confirmed, I will help you find the property you are looking for.

There are numerous homes under $500K. I can send you a list if you like.
