Are there any avenues open to obtain financing through since I have just come out of a bankruptcy due to becoming disabled?

Asked by Emma Petty, Evansville, IN Mon Mar 7, 2011

I am looking for a home with approx. 1250 sq ft living space located in a quiet, clean neighborhood. I must sell my present home because the mortgage is twice what I can now afford due to a cut in income. I am in a fresh start program and my credit scores are all in the 600s with an avg score of 649. My present home is up for sale.

If you have a credit score of at least 640 and 2 years post BK discharge you can (possibly) qualify for a mortgage. There are several programs available to you.

Send me an email and we can discuss your options.
