If you are looking for West San Jose Lynbrook High, it is condos/townhomes only at that price range, but there are 2 right now. If you are open to Cupertino or Santa Clara Cupertino High, you have some small, generally Eichler-style SFH, townhomes and condos available, as you do in Cupertino with Cupertino High. Let me know if you'd like more data on your choices.

Dear Sk,

You can set up an automatic search with an agent for Cupertino School District under $650K, and you want to be poised to offer within a few days of new homes that match these parameters coming on the market.

This morning, there were three, and now there are two. A home on Miller 95014 (It's cupertino not W SJ) had offers due at 6 p.m. tonight. The two remaining are on Johnson and on Newsom. Both are three-bedroom, two bath homes on 5000+ lots.

Let me know if you would like an automatic search set up for you with Cupe schools. You can also look in 95051 in Santa Clara, very close to West San Jose off of El Camino and Lawrence.

I also have knowledge of one potential short sale in Cupertino where the seller kept holding out to get his $850K to not have it be a short sale, and I can contact that owner and give you the inside story on that house (needs some work but great schools). It's also near Johnson/that area where West San Jose and Cupertino meet.

Good luck!

SK - The best way to find the home of your dreams is to work closely with an agent you can trust. Once this relationship is established, the two of you should be working together to find and close on the best house for you. If you are just hunting and pecking for a house, you may miss it without fully engaging your own buyers agent.
Several websites can give inaccurate information concerning the availability of homes. I would suggest the MLS website -, my buyer/seller toolkit (from my website, and of course a committed agent.

Hello Sk,

I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I did a quick search and only found one property that fit your request. It is a 2bed/2bath townhouse with a 2-car detached garage. Although this is probably not what you are looking for, the link to the property is:…

I have spent many hours searching homes in the San Jose/Saratoga/Campbell area for buyers in your price range that wanted a SFH within a school district with AP scores well above 800. If you contact me, I would love to get more information regarding what your needs are and to discuss what your options are based on your needs.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays,

Sk -

Certainly the choices are few. I only found two detached homes. If it is good schools you are looking for, you might consider Cambrian Park or West San Jose (Moreland School District). The Union School District that serves most of Cambrian Park (95124, 95118, parts of 95032) are high scoring API K-12.

Hello SK,

Though request but there are some.

If you are working with a good agent, have him or her help you find your home.

If you do not have an agent, give me a call and I will be happy to help you find a home for your family.
