I have since located another properyt and used your quick steps to get the tax info however the taxes on the property have been paid so the only thing showing on this web site is information saying the taxes have been paid. no specifics are shown. so unless there is an outstanding tax bill on the properyt it does not show any information.

Also I am going thru the same thing escrow was to close on the 10th after being postponed by the seller twice. it is already the 17th. I signed the papers yesterday,
I called the bank and said that I specifically asked for the special assesment taxes to be included in the impound escrow account. they said and I quote "there aren't any" I had already called the county assesors office before bidding on the property and found that there are special assesments totalling 113.00 per month.
The bank said no problem,don't worry. You will have to pay the special assesments when they come due this cycle so just put the 113.00 aside each month for that then when you get the bill in november just pay those assesments and we will again adjust your mortgage to include that impound account. At 5:00 am this morning I woke up in a start. WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR APRIL THRU AUGUST!!!!
there is no mention of the seller making these payments on any of the docs.. There is no seller credit to the impound to cover these payments for those months. I will be in the same boat as all the other people writing on this site that they were hit with huge tax bills they cannot pay. all because it was not addressed. I have since written emails to stop the processing until this is addressed, even though i insisted on this OVER AND OVER AND OVER when doing this loan. here we are at the end and I am told there are no special assesments when I found out about them two days before I even put in a bid and insisted in the contract that the assesments be paid to date and everyone at the bank of america and haven view escrow company said all taxes would be brought current. not to worry. Well when do I start to worry? It still has not been addressed and it is 7 days passed the close of escrow!
the only thing brought current was the property taxes. no one listens.
