Are homeowners with Pools selling their homes faster than homes without swimming pools? How does this affect the selling price?

Asked by Victor Talha, Fort Lauderdale, FL Thu Sep 27, 2012

I have seen these vans all throughout my neighborhood. Especially at the homes that are for sale. Is there a quick fix when You are selling your house that is associated with your pool getting fixed?

Many of the newcomers from the NE states feel that a house in S. Florida MUST have a pool,,,; some young families with young kids may AVOID houses with pools. Botom line: it depends....

Hi Victor,

I see many buyers that specify a pool
as an absolute must have for their new home
so I believe the answer is "Yes" a pool is a selling feature that most buyers want in the south florida market! Feel free to call, email or text me with any interest that you have in selling or buying a property.

Thanx Stephanie I. That makes sense. Yes, I will most definitely call You. I keep seeing these vans from Go Chemless around my neighborhood and finally connected the pieces together. These guys are doing fixes, washes, and upgrades to pools that are for sale. So anyways, we called them too, are getting the house up to par for selling. Would you say it's a great time to sell?
