Are any Honolulu Realtors interested in sending me a few best buys for their area? I'd like to keep in mind

What do you think are the best deals in Honolulu? Best long term investment strategy for investing on Oahu. Where would you buy if you were investing right now in Honolulu real estate? Thanks

My name is Mike Gallagher and I am Broker in Charge at RE/MAX Honolulu.
As for the best opportunities to buy an investment property on Oahu I would visit my website at

Here you will find the current activity levels of interest of buyers for all major areas of Oahu. You will also find my "best buy" areas for all of Oahu's SFH's, Condos and Town Homes.

I wish you much Aloha,

Aran - The bottom line in Honolulu is the military infrastructure to protect any fuduciary duty in rocky times . That bottom line is the BHA , or basic housing allowance from U.S. service men and there families here on Oahu. This is the reason to keep your money on the green spot Oahu and all the military bases and there neighbooring areas .

Be happy to help represent you , Rob Huber RA

Best Buy ! at : , also , I would encorage you to look at Makaha Valley Towers since they will be needing thousands of units for the employees of the new Disney Land Hotel . You can find big inventory and DOM in Makaha currently . Makakilo is also a great place to buy , since it is so close to Koolina's Disney Hotel . I saw a wonderful single family home for 398,000.

Homes are going for at or below assessed value in most cases. My favorite listing (mine):…

Good question though, it's hard to choose. Ewa will have further price declines. I think Makakilo 2 BRs townhomes will always be strong.

1 and 2 BR high rise condos in Kakaako, at the right price. 2 BRs in Waikiki can cash flow at the right price and 20%-30% down. There aren't a lot of 2 BRs left there.

SF homes in the Kaimuki and Diamond Head areas are looking good.
