Allow me to recommend myself as a termite inspector. A full sectional report is usually $200.
If your buying along the River, definitely get a termite report.
As far as real estate lawyers go, you could try the Sonoma County BAR, or local chamber of commerce. I used Martin McComber once and was OK with the results. The other parties' attorney was Hugh Helm whom Mr. McComber highly respected. Are you sure you need an attorney?

Hi Ralph, there are several in the area, I am happy to forward to you their contact information if you provide me with an email address or phone number to do so. As far as inspectors what type of inspectors are you looking for i.e. Pest, Home/Contractor/ Chimney, Arborist, Mold, Roof, Foundation, Natural Hazards? There are many types of inspections that can and should be performed while in a real estate transaction. The minimum is usually a Home & A Pest inspection then depending on the properties particulars or what those inspector find you may desire some of the others.

Everyone purchasing a house should review our home assessment check list before requesting a home inspection. We have designed a home assessment check list and encourage home owners and buyers to use it. Home inspections and radon testing are comprehensive home evaluations, and they are costly. So, before getting a home inspection and radon test do your own assessment it will help minimize surprises. Here is link to view or download assessment check list. http://www.rtpropertyinspection.com/HomeInspection
