About USDA Website

Asked by 2demoon, Naples, FL Thu May 17, 2012

The website will show the address qualifies but it does know the difference between house, condo, townhouse, etc. I need something more specific if possible.
Thank you

Mesquite has lost its Rural designation. Consequently, no USDA loans are available for homes in Mesquite AS OF OCTOBER 01, 2012.

Actually farms are ineligible for USDA.

I work for a mortgage bank in CA. We are a direct lender funding USDA in California.

Here is the list of eligible properties:

SFR (non farm)
Condo
PUD
Modular/Manufactured

Non-eligible

2-4 unit
Investor
Geodesic
Ranches
Homes without a heat source

Hope that helps....good luck!

Are you sure?
The USDA areas are RURAL,
and I cannot envision a Condo or Townhouse in a rural setting.
I would envision ranches and farms.

Good luck and may God bless

Ron - Mesquite is a small town in Clark County, NV. We are considered RURAL by USDA. The US Post office even considers us RURAL, even though Mesquite is a city. We have lots of condos and townhomes. :)
