Absolutely! I work with many buyers and sellers who do this entirely for a living and do quite well. There are also many different ways to do it, from flipping houses, developing, to purchasing investment properties with rent-generated income. However, it's important to work with an agent when doing this as you need someone who knows the local market, just like you would when investing in any other financial market!
