If you are thinking of buying a vacation home don't forget to consider your loan options! SInce this will not be your primary home you will have to get either a secondary home loan or an investment home loan. If you plan to use the house for your exclusive enjoyment only then you should consider a secondary property loan. If you plan to rent it out and try to have some form of income from this vacation home then you should look into an investment property. Also, be aware that in the lenders perspective, investment properties are risky so usually interest rates and down payments will be a bit higher than a primary property.

I hope this helps! If this comment was helpful, please feel free to leave me a recommendation on my profile page!

Good Luck!

Hello Lady Sahara,

The community of Highland Lakes offers 5 Lakes and 7 Beaches. The criteria which you are inquiring does not exist in recent sales of the last 12 month. With that said, 5 lakefront homes have sold in Highland Lakes in the last year. The living spaces varied from 2-3 and 1-2 bathrooms. Those sales prices were from $275,000 to $320,000.

The home in your inquiry 5 Water Street is not in Highland Lakes. This home is located in Lake Wanda which is in close proximity to Highland lakes but is not associated to nor does it allow you any access to the Highland Lakes ammenities. I know this can be confusing because the mailing zip code 07422 states Highland Lakes. There are actually a few lake communities under the 07422 zip code, Barry Lakes, Cliffwood Lakes, Lake Wanda and Highland Lakes.

If you would like more information on the area and would like to see what homes fit your housing needs please give me a call. I'll be happy to assist you in your home search.

Best Regards,
Denise Hart

Sincere,

Your company is transferring you to Maryland but is not helping you with the relocation including the sale of your home?...
That is very unusual.
I do suggest that you hire a Realtor to market and sell your home rather than utilize a "home buying company". From what i have heard they are like pawnbrokers, paying lower than true value for the privilege of helping you get rid of the home.
If your company doesn't have a relocation package set up for you, a realtor will be more likely to get you a fair price for your home.
