Hello Lee
This home is a foreclosure with mold issues, in order to view it a mold disclosure must be signed. as far as the mechanicals the bank will make no disclosures on condition of the home- it is an "as is" sale.

The link to the listing is:

Hi Sue,
I have worked with people who have a sense of a spirit in a home and others who laugh at the idea.

I believe whether a house is "haunted" is a question for those that live there or have lived there in the past. The experiences they have had, how they feel and personal prospective will be reflected in the answer, although the question would not be welcome by everyone.

The topic is interesting and individual opinions vary. As real estate agents we try to remain objective and keep personal opinions out of our business dealings.

I hope you find your answers.

Brokers/Agents should check the source and validity of postings before answering them. Regarding Mrs. Lund's rant about 4 Amanda Circle.... Mrs. Lund fraudulently represented herself as an Agent/Landlord, when in fact she is merely a disgruntled would-be purchaser who NEVER had an accepted offer from the bank on this short sale.

I am, and always have been the owner of this property. It was not sold for $149,900 back in May as was stated by the answering Broker. The Lunds were to get a $500 credit at closing in lieu of a Property Condition Disclosure because the house was vacant for about 2 years and we were 3,000 miles away. We, therefore had no idea of the condition at the time of her original offer.

As far as I know, sellers are not legally obligated to winterize their property. We just drained the pipes as best as we could and put anti-freeze in the toilets (which did not crack). We never lied or misrepresented anything to the bank or the broker. After the inspection, the broker (and I) notified the bank of the findings and my Broker posted everything in MLS. She also requested a second appraisal from the bank, taking into consideration the damage.

The subsequent offer that was presented was laughed at by me and the bank. These people wanted to pay $75,000. The land the house sits on is worth more than that!.

I wanted this to go out to the real estate community so that you check out a situation before playing arm chair lawyers or giving incorrect information. Remember the expression "Buyers are Liars."

Respectfully.............Shelley Williams

The property was sold May 9th for $149,900. As of this moment is has not gone back on the market for sale nor has it been listed for rent through the Multiple Listing Service. It may very well be that the new owner may have a sign saying it is for rent.

There are other homes for rent in Highland and if you would like to know about them please call my office up to 8PM everyday. The number is 845-255-0019.

Hope I can be of service to you,
